Chicken and Tuna Wrap [Recipe]

I ate rendang in wraps today.

So I remember that I've made this kind of wrap before. Ow in case you guys don't know, rendang is a beef dish. which the beef is slow-cooked with coconut milk and traditional spices. It's kinda Indonesian.

Anyways, I love wraps. I mean I love everything wrapped in tortilla wraps. And then toast them untill the tortilla becomes a little bit crunchy. So I just wanna make a post about that. That day, I made the chicken and tuna in tortilla wraps.

It's pretty easy. I'm not a professional cook so all of my recipes are simple. The ingredients are as follow:
  • Few tortilla wraps (in this case I used Old El Paso tortilla wraps)
  • A tablespoon of olive oil (for stir fry)
  • Chopped iceberg lettuce
  • A canned tuna
  • Chopped steamed chicken
  • Mayonnaise
  • Chilli sauce (optional)

Do you see a bottle of chilli sauce there? It is the best bottled chilli sauce in the world. My all time favourite.

How to make is simple.

1. Stir fried the chopped chicken and canned tuna with the olive oil. Not too long, 5 mins top. I did that just to make them hot and to add some more flavour.
2. Prepare the tortilla wraps, smear the mayo, put some lettuce, and then line the stir fried chicken and tuna neatly (because it will be messy if you don't do it neatly).
3. Put any sauce you want (in my case, chilli sauce is absolute), and fold it.

 4. Put the wraps on the grill, toast them until the wraps become crunchy.

The wraps tasted good. I love it. They have slightly crunchy and lovely skin, and inside there are chopped chicken and tuna which have good flavour. I actually don't like the canned tuna taste, 'cause I don't like the sun dried tomato flavour, but the chilli sauce just made everything much better hehee. For me, these wraps are a perfect idea of my lunch. Simple, delicious.
